Stephen N. Potter is retired CEO of Northern Trust Investments and Vice Chairman of Northern Trust Corporation.

In addition to leading Northern’s asset management business for a decade, Steve also served as CEO of Northern’s International asset servicing subsidiary in London from 2001-2008. He is presently Vice Chairman of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and also serves on the Boards of Walter Scott & Partners in Edinburgh,TIAA/ Nuveen’s Churchill Direct Lending Corporation in New York and Miami Corporation in Chicago.

He also serves as Chairman of the Japan America Society of Chicago and on the boards of several other civic and charitable organizations. Throughout his career, Steve has worked closely with global asset owners and asset management firms to develop consistent and sustainable responses to evolving market trends and opportunities.
